Toastess Model TFC-1

by Dave
(Cincinnati, Ohio USA)

This is a handy, little one-cup coffee maker that I have used for three years. You fill the water and the coffee from the top.

There are no filters to buy as it has a screen filter one the top to place the coffee making it easily cleaned. It is light-weight and I have found it to be durable.

The lid, where the water is placed, flips up and down. You have to watch the steam that comes out of the top when it is brewing. It is hot to the touch but I have not been burned by it. The coffee comes out just the right warmth--not super hot. You can drink it right away.

The turn on and off button is on the lower right hand at the base of the coffee maker. One feature I dislike is that there isn't a timer on this switch and it stays on until manually turned off. It has not overheated.

I bought it at Meijer's store near by home.
