Starbucks VIA Ready Brew
I have been a hardcore Starbucks junkie for years but after having my daughter I simply have not had the time to stop in every day like I used to. As a single mom with two jobs I hardly even have time to breathe these days! But despite that I'm still a coffee snob and even though I tried I just couldn't bring myself to drink cheap stuff. I'd buy nice stuff in the store and brew it every morning but it was always kind of a pain and I hated cleaning my coffee pot and dreaded having to go through the ritual every single morning when I had about a million other things that needed to get done.
So I was really excited when I found out that Starbucks had come out with an instant coffee and I was even more excited after tasting it for the first time. It's almost as good as a fresh cup from a store. It's definitely not really an instant coffee. It has a nice, rich flavor that isn't bitter at all and it is also slightly creamy. It's great black or with cream and sugar. I also love the fact that I can make it hot or over ice. The negative is that of course it isn't quite the same as a freshly brewed cup or a french-pressed cup of coffee but it's still darn good.
The packages are very portable, I keep several packages in my purse for when I'm at the office so I don't have to drink the gross stuff that they have there. They're also easy to open, they tear right open, no need for scissors at all. It has also cut down on my out-the-door time in the morning. The price is a bit steep for what it is but at the same time, $9.95 for twelve cups of coffee is definitely far less than what I was paying at an actual store, especially since I'd often try things other than plain brewed coffee. In conclusion, this stuff is awesome for anyone pressed for time and honestly it's awesome for just about anyone who likes a nice flavorful cup of coffee.Rating
