Nescafe Taster's Choice - House Blend Coffee

I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob. Fresh brewed coffee used to be a very specific process for me. I have a fancy machine, a thermometer and if the pot sits for more than a few hours I will brew fresh. I consume as much coffee in a day as I do water and flavor is extremely important to me.

My best friend is also a huge coffee snob. When he switched to Nescafe Taster's Choice, which is an instant coffee of all things, I was baffled. He said that the house blend was mellow and tasty and that drinking it all day long was very easy to stomach. We both only drink coffee black so stomach acid can be a concern.

I gave it a try based on his recommendation. It wasn't too long before my coffee machine fell out of use. It just sits there. My tea kettle does the all the work these days. The Taster's Choice House Blend tastes just like fresh brewed and it is a light and flavorful blend. I've tried the French Roast too and it's, as one would expect more robust, but of just as fine a quality. I've never liked an instant coffee before. Instant never tasted "real", merely coffee like.

I still find it hard to believe that I'm drinking instant coffee let alone that it's become my primary coffee. Taster's Choice is a wonderful everyday choice for flavor and caffeine. Also, I find that, as a heavy coffee consumer the Taster's Choice is a great deal easier on my wallet in the long run when weighed against the gourmet beans I used to grind each morning. I love this stuff!
