My husband and I purchased this coffee maker four years ago I believe, from the local discount department store (Walmart). My husband is very particular when it comes to his coffee. So we had to find the right one that did alot of things. We still use the one we bought to this day. I think it was a wonderful purchase. It is great! It is so very easy to program and use.

I like the fact that I can get the coffe ready for my husband the night before and just push a button for it to brew fresh for him in the morning. My husband likes having the different brew strengths and the clock that lights up (easy to find in the dark).

It is very easy to clean. There is not much effort to it at all. The removeable basket makes the cleanup that much easier. Having the removable and changeable filter is a great feature also.

I can't say that I could really compare this coffee maker to any others that we have had in the past. Compared to what we did use, there is no comparison. I would highly recommend this product.

It is not a huge appliance, so it doesn't take up to much counter space at all. It makes the right amount of coffee (12 cups) for our needs. The price was very reasonable for all the features that it does have. I also like the fact that it comes in different colors. You are not stuck with just a plain white one.

I am sure we will be using this coffee maker for quite awhile yet.

I have owned this coffee maker for approximately 1 year. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who needs an easy to use coffee maker with adjustable settings. I like this machine because it is easy to set, and there are many options.

I can set it to come on automatically in the morning, and adjust both the strength of the coffee, and the temperature of the heat pad. The coffee is always fresh tasting and comes on automatically at the time I set it. One thing I wish was different is the pouring.

When I fill the water canister from the pot, water tends to leak out the back of the glass coffee pot, making a mess if I don't pour very very slowly. I'm not sure why it does this.

If I pour very slow it does not leak out as much. Over all I would say I have been very happy with this machine, and feel like it was worth the money. When compared to more simple machines,

it has better features, and a sleek look. It is one of the prettier of the machines in it's price group. I am not very sure how the self clean works, I have used it once.

It does seem to get some build up from water deposits, but I probably just need to clean it better.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced, quality coffee maker, look no further than the Mr. Coffee ISX 23. I purchased mine at Wal-Mart for about 35.00. I have had it for about a year now, and I have been extremely pleased with it.

This thing is loaded with features, including delay brew, water purification, fresh brew timer, and clean cycle. The delay brew is awesome, you can set it up to 24 hours in advance- down to the minute. The water purification makes a big difference on the overall taste of the coffee and the fresh brew timer makes sure you can enjoy it while it's fresh.

One of my favorite features is the adjustable warmer temp knob. Don't like your coffee scalding hot? Just turn the knob down to lower the temperature. Another thing I really like about this machine is the brew strength option. By simply pushing a button you can toggle between regular and strong settings. The carafe is very nice, and I’ve noticed the spout has a tip, which keeps coffee from dripping out after you pour it.


Cleanup is extremely easy with this coffee maker. It has a designated "clean" cycle that takes a little longer to run the solution through the machine. This really gets everything cleaned out in one pass.

Another thing that makes this coffee maker really stand out is the styling. I believe it is available in black or white, but mine is black with brushed chrome accents. The dual water indicator windows add a nice touch as well. The clock is a very handsome digital analog clock, but I feel it may be a little too bright, especially at night.

Overall, this coffee maker is great value for the money. It has never let me down, and provided great results for me every time.
