Maxwell House House Blend
At my workplace, the only coffee we drink is Maxwell House House Blend, and we buy the larger plastic canister size with handle and Flavor-Lock lid. The value cannot be beat. It lasts for a long time at our office, but stays fresh until you reach the bottom of the canister. We have tried different blends of the Maxwell House family, but we prefer the House Blend over the others we have tried.
This blend works really well with those flavored coffee creamers, but also tastes great black with a donut or something sweet. Prior to my current employment, I always bought a generic store brand of coffee because of the price, but I will no longer be doing that. I also like that the containers can be re-used for various household projects too, or can be recycled easily. It makes me feel good not to be throwing away a can all the time (coffee cans are only good for so many things)!
The handle shape is reminiscent of a gallon of milk, is easy to store, stack, and is a lot easier to get off the top shelf because of the handle. The coffee is a great price everywhere I have seen it. For the amount you get, and how many cups of coffee you can make with it, I definitely can’t justify buying the high-end bags for the same price. I can’t tell the difference whether I’m drinking a $2 cup at Starbucks or a homemade cup of the Maxwell House House Blend.
