Krups Espresso 1020

I've had a Krups Espresso maker Model 963/B for years, and it is great! My Mother liked it so much we wanted to get her one. The 963/B is no longer made, but the 1020 appears to be its replacement. So we gave her a 1020. It is garbage. Never worked correctly from day one. The frother design does not work, and the espresso is inconsistant and bitter/burnt. I may never again purchase any Krups product.
