K-Cup Reusable Filter
by: Anonymous

I've recently been gifted this particular model and quickly found that the reusable filter is incompatible. However, The K-Cup reusable filter can be modified in order for the Keurig OfficePRO to accept it. I used a coping saw and a knife to shave off parts of the lid and holder of the accessory to make a proper fit. If you happen to not be able to return the office version, fortunately it is feasible to make the filter work with this model. I personally would not risk damaging the brewer itself with modifications as it is a very expensive product, but instead would sooner risk irreparably damaging an $18.00 (albeit still expensive) accessory. Just be careful not to cut yourself as the pieces you are working with are small. Good Luck!

Use Solo not My K cup
by: Anonymous

You need to use the solofill cup. It will fit perfectly in this unit without having to take anything out or modify.

I thought I would take a chance. So I took my Dremel tool with a round gridstone & ground about 1/3-1/2 off the two back tabs & Presto the K=cup works fine

Office Pro
by: Anonymous

The name makes it sound great, but the options don't make this pot worth the cost. It only brews small cups 10oz, which is smaller then a small cup that you would buy say at McDonalds. The K cups all have the same amount of grinds, which means all the coffee is going to be extra strong, unless you double brew using the same K-cup. Buy a different model that allows you to use the 'my k cup' and brews a full range of sizes.

B145 reusable filter
by: Anonymous

Hi, I want to try to remove the tabs that prevent the reusable filter in my brewer but am worried that if I do that, the filter cup that already comes with the system will not fit properly. Does anyone know if it will still work?

RE-USABLE K-CUP FILTER
by: Anonymous

After reading the above article, I went to the coffee maker with a pair of pliers in hand; those little tabs that kept the reusable filter from fitting CAME RIGHT OFF.

Now I have NOT complaints about the coffee maker. Everyone in the office loves having a freshly brewed cup, and now I am happy because the cost just went down.

Can't use "My K-Cup" re-usable filter
by: Anonymous

For some unknown reason, the B series can't use the reusable filter adapter that allows you to use any ground coffee, handy when you're out of K cups. I checked the machine against a non office model and noticed a ridge on the office model that prevents the adapter from seating properly in the machine. It appears that it can be removed with a dremel tool to reshape the area to match the standard machines. I already returned my adapter to the store, or I would have tried it out.
