Coffee Maker Overview

The Hamilton Beach coffee maker comes from a well known and respected company that have been providing quality appliances to Americans for nearly 100 years. They have a large range of coffee and beverage makers.

This article will discuss the coffee makers and iced tea makers available to consumers. Whatever your beverage needs, Hamilton Beach has a machine to suit you.

Hamilton Beach Brew Station Range

The first range to be considered is the Brew Station range; these coffee makers, unlike traditional coffee makers, do not have a coffee pot!

They make a full pot’s worth of coffee in the traditional way with a filter and grounds, but the coffee is stored in the machine and gently heated to keep it at the right temperature and then dispensed one cup at a time at the touch of a button.

You simply place your cup into the dispenser eliminating the possibility of coffee spills all over your counters! The gentle heating of the coffee stops that horrible burnt taste that comes from coffee being heated too high for too long.

You will have hot coffee that tastes great without the need to clean a carafe, or the danger of accidentally breaking a fragile glass carafe.

The Brew Station range consists of six different models, four 12 cup and one 10 cup model. All of the Brew Station range of coffee makers have a water filter to ensure water quality for the perfect cup of coffee and a permanent gold tone filter to hold the coffee grinds.

The ten cup Brew Station Coffee maker is their base model, which performs all of the features outlined above and shuts off automatically after 2 hours of inactivity.

The twelve cup Hamilton Beach coffee maker has the same features as the 10 cup; the twelve cup with timer has all of the basic features with the addition of a timer so you can program the machine to switch off.

The Brew Station plus 12 cup coffee makers come in two styles one that includes a programmable timer and a model that has 3 coffee brewing modes.

The final machine in the Brew Station Range is the Brew Station Deluxe 12 cup Coffee maker which has all of the features of the other machines as well as a 1-4 cup brewing option.

Hamilton Beach Smaller Models (4-5 cups)

The next range in the Hamilton Beach coffee maker series are their 4 – 5 cup Coffeemakers, these are traditional style coffee makers with a dishwasher safe glass carafe for easy cleanup.

The first model in this range is the Aroma Express 5 cup coffee maker, this machine features a non-stick warming pad, a removable swing away filter basket, an easy to fill water reservoir, a on switch that lights when the machine is on and my favorite feature an automatic pause to serve function that allows you to serve coffee before the brew cycle has finished.

The Hamilton Beach Commercial Hospitality Range consists of three machines that each have a four cup capacity the DB40100B is the base model with all the features of the Aroma Express without the auto pause ‘n serve function, the D40103B does have pause ‘n serve and the D40201 has all of the features as well as a removable brew insert.

Hamilton Beach Larger Models

The 10 -12 cup Hamilton Beach coffee maker range consists of 3 different types of machines: the Brew Station machine we have already discussed, The Electrics All Metal Coffee Maker range and the Stay or Go Thermal Coffee maker.

The Electrics all Metal Coffee Makers come in two different colors white or Ultra Marine. The features these machines offer are an advanced no scorch heater pad to ensure you don’t get “burnt” coffee, accelerated brewing, the pause ‘n serve feature already discussed as well as a programmable clock/timer and 2 hour automatic shut off.

These machines are very sleek and stylish, they have a very modern compact design that I think is quite appealing.

Hamilton Beach Thermal Coffee Maker

The Stay or Go Thermal Coffee Maker is perfect for those of us who love a good cup of coffee on our morning commute.

The machine comes with 2 stainless steel travel mugs and a 10 cup 44oz stainless steel thermal carafe. This machine features 3 brewing functions at the touch of a button, an optimal brewing system, a programmable clock/timer, non drip pouring, the two hour auto shut off and this model also includes a permanent filter for your coffee grinds.

Hamilton Beach Espresso

Hamilton Beach has espresso lovers covered too with their Cappuccino Plus Espresso Maker. This machine will allow you to make café quality espresso at home simply and easily.

The machine features a high quality Italian 15 bar pump, an easy to fill water reservoir and a no fuss frother. This espresso machine also has the fantastic ability to use either ground coffee or premeasured pods the choice is entirely up to you.

Another great innovation with this machine is the provided DVD that will teach you how to use the machine and how to brew and create your favorite café coffees such as espresso cappuccino etc in your own home!

Hamilton Beach Iced Tea Makers

Hamilton Beach also manufactures an iced tea machine for those hot summer days. The Iced Tea maker features a large 2 quart slimline pitcher that is perfectly designed to fit in your refrigerator door.

The machine will brew a full pitcher of iced tea in under 10 minutes using either leaf tea or tea bags (without the need for paper filters).

The machine allows you to select mild, medium and strong brew strengths so that you can brew iced tea that is perfect for your individual taste.

This machine’s final features of note are an indicator light that goes out once brewing is complete and an auto shutoff function that switches the machine off once the brewing cycle is completed.

Hamilton Beach have been known and trusted by Americans for almost a century and with their range of beverage makers they will I believe continue to be loved well into the future.
