This is the absolute best coffee maker you will ever own. Has a carafe that sits in back on top. You can brew up to 12 cups of coffee at once. The brew mode can be set to brew normal, decaf, Flavor+ or 1 to 4 cups. Has a backlit clock/timer that will keep coffee pot on and hot for 1 to 4 hours.

Has a stainless steele control panel on the front of the unit of black. The best part is that the coffee is dispensed directly into your cup with just one hand. Simply place your cup under the pot, pressing the button with your cup to begin dispensing the coffee. Will dispense coffee into any standard size tall travel mugs as well as regular size mugs. No more spilled coffee, no pouring and no glass carafe to break.

I have had several other coffee makers before I purchased this on and they have not lasted very long and the carafes were usually glass. Most have broken and are not cheap to replace. This is not an issue with this extraordinary coffee maker. It also comes with a permanent coffee filter that can be reused over and over again. You can program this unit at the touch of a button to keep your coffee hot and shut off automatically.

I liked this coffee maker so much I bought one for my mother and grandmother for Christmas last year. This really is a must have Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker.

I'm on my third base unit which I have had to pay for the last two. The little gray trigger piece keeps breaking.
Why can't they just make the piece some sturdier material.

I purchased my coffee maker from HHGregg. I have had it for a year and a half now. I bought this coffee maker because it does not have a glass carafe that will break. This coffee maker has a tank that is included in the maker itself. It has a button that you push against with the mug to serve the coffee. I really like this setup much better as the coffee stays hotter because you are not exposing it to any cool air.

The coffee maker came with one disposable water filter and a packet of cleaner. The basket for the coffee grounds can be used with or without a filter. I use a filter because I find it much easier to clean.

After 6 months or so my coffee wasn't tasting right so I got out the packet of cleaner and ran it through. I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made in the taste of the coffee. I didn't realize that they suggest running the cleaner through the coffee maker every month. I think that is a little extreme as long as you clean out the tank that holds the coffee very well after each use.

I believe running a cleaner through every 3 months or so would be plenty to keep the coffee tasting fresh. Also realize that they only give you one packet of cleaner so you either have to buy more or you can just use some vinegar to clean out the pot.

Overall I really like this coffee maker and would recommend it to others. There is a more expensive version, as well as a less expensive one.

I think the lower priced one felt cheaply made, so I purchased the middle priced one. The more expensive one didn't have enough upgrades for me to warranty the extra cost.

The Hamilton Beach company can take pride in this fabulous coffee maker. I've never been a big coffee drinker and I've always loathed the thought of making my husband a pot of coffee. The old pots would be made of glass that would stain quickly with day-old coffee and the heat from the coil below would often crack the glass and cause an eventual leak.

But that was before this modern-day convenience. This machine has no pot, but an automatic pourer instead. You simply slide the cup up against the back button, push gently and watch your cup get full. No more potential spills from slippery pot handles or barely-curved lips.


As for the preparation, it's about the same as any other coffee maker, but your coffee will be ready in about half the time. Best of all, the Brew Station Deluxe really is deluxe: It's all digital! You can time this maker to brew your coffee at any time you desire with its easy-to-use timer.

Afraid to leave the maker on because you'll end up with burned coffee? It has a timer for that, too! You can set it for one to four hours, whatever your fancy. Oh, and no need to buy a clock for the kitchen -- there's one built right in! It’s easy to clean, too. Simply remove the canister from the machine base and rinse out. No hassle, no staining.

This machine is easy to set, easy to use and easy to make excellent coffee: You couldn’t ask for anything more!

his is the best everyday coffee maker I've ever owned. I make at least 2 pots of coffee a day and it keeps it fresh tasting and just the right temp for at least two hours. Easy to clean. You can even preset morning start time.
