Delonghi Caffe Elite Coffee Maker (DC76T)

This coffee maker has been one of the best drip coffee makers I have owned. A 12-cup machine, My favorite feature is the digital clock/timer -- each morning I wake up to the smell of my morning cup of coffee brewing. There is also a brew select function (that I rarely use) to control the brewing time for a stronger or weaker cup. Like many products made by Delonghi, it is high quality and has been going strong for over 2 years.

Another great feature of this coffee maker is that it comes with a reusable filter -- that is also very easy to clean. One complaint (really my only complaint) is that if I start my pot of coffee with cold water, the brewed result tends to verge on lukewarm.

I've learned to compensate for this, though, by making sure I brew with warm water instead. Since it is equipped with an auto-shut-off, I don't need to worry about leaving the house having forgotten to shut off the coffee pot! Pretty great considering I bought this machine -- refurbished -- at a little shop in Chinatown for twenty bucks!

All in all, a great little drip coffee maker. Looks great, and makes a great cup o' joe.
