I absolutely adore this machine, the Cuisinart Espresso Maker EM-200, and the amazing Espresso it makes. My parents bought it this last year in May for a birthday present from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Since I have had it almost a year now, I really do not think I would try another brand.

My parents picked this one out for me, even though I had hinted for it for a bit, because it has the capability of being programmed and already comes with some really neat preset features. My favorite of which is the ability to be able to just make one cup at a time, which is quite important since I live alone. Also, I can even control just how much espresso (single or double shots) that I want in my morning cup, i.e. whether it’s going to be an easy or rough day at work!

While the only other espresso machine I can compare it to is the one my sister has, a Breville model she received as a wedding present, it seems to be far superior. It heats up quicker, in around a minute it is hot and by the second minute it is usually almost finished with my cup of espresso. Also, speaking of heat, it seems to come out at just the right temperature. You can also use the steam wand to heat it up even more or to warm up milk for additional tasty treats like hot chocolate (the only thing I might like more than Espresso!) Cleanup also seems easier on this Cuisinart than on my sister’s Breville one. Just a few wipes and everything is clean.

I really haven’t found anything to complain about from this machine. It works great and seems to do so very consistently. Love the espresso it makes and how the machine looks on my counter. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Espresso and wants an easy to use, great looking machine that comes with plenty of options
