Capresso 560.01 Infinity

I feel that although the Capresso 560.01 Infinity is not a top of the line product, it has tremendous bang for the buck. I received this grinder as a gift and I think it is simply brilliant. It is considered a burr grinder.

A burr grinder grinds the coffee much finer because it utilizes metal discs. The burr model makes it a must have for individuals that enjoy machine espresso, French press, or drip coffee. Although extremely versatile, this grinder does have its flaws.

It moves almost a snail pace. This is to ensure a fine grind, but it requires that many seconds longer to enjoy that cup of Joe. In addition, I have found that this grinder doe snot always provide a consistent grind every time.

I have had to regrind beans. I find these to be small and minute details however. On one more plus note, because of the availability to make extremely fine coffee grounds, the flavour is phenomenal! If you a true bean and coffee connesuir, then you must try this grinder!

- Decent quality under $100 Can be used for drip coffee or espresso machines

- Not the greatest of consistency Works slowly

meets everyday use expectations

- The model is popular and has received appreciation of most buyers.
- Needs hardly any after sale service.

- It fails to meet the requirement of those having a high-tech coffee makers.
- In looks, can?t stand comparison with some fancy colored models.

Genuine coffee lovers do discern if the coffee is freshly ground from the very aroma. That emphasizes the need for a readily available coffee grinder as a kitchen appliance. Broadly, there are two types of grinders available in the market, blade grinders and burr grinders.

The latter have provision for grinding coffee beans between metallic discs and for sure, they grind more finely. This makes the concoction prepared have very uniform consistency that forms a more pleasant drink. The above brand is a burr type grinding appliance. The ground seeds from the unit can be fed to both espresso and drip type coffee makers. This in particular satisfies those who savor a strong brew as also the ones having a liking for lighter consistency.

Some of the features of the model that need a special mention are silent operation, as many as 16 settings, an efficient timer, holding capacity up to eight tablespoons of ground coffee and availability in sturdy stainless steel body. On the technical side, the burrs are made of quality grade steel that makes the appliance pretty durable. As far as maintenance goes, apart from just a warm water wash after the day?s use, cleaning with a brush once every week is all that is enough. Unless one possesses a high end espresso maker, the model surely meets the everyday domestic need.
