They like the fact that it’s simple to use, easy to clean and doesn’t come at a high cost to the consumer. Also mentioned was the simplicity of this appliance without all the extra added features, and the fact it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. As for taste, most consumers agree that it makes a great cup of coffee and doesn’t seem to use as much ground coffee to brew a tasty pot of java. The pause and serve button is a well liked feature everyone seems to enjoy having. This means you don’t have to wait for the entire pot to finish brewing before you have a cup. The coffee maker will pause the brewing process so you can remove the pot, pour a cup, and replace the pot for continued brewing. It’s a great feature for those of us who just can’t wait for the pot to completely fill up. Although there are quite a few thumbs up reviews, there are some complaints by customers concerning the performance of the Braun Aromaster KF 420. One major problem seems to be with the carafe. If you need to replace your carafe for this particular model, the price seems to be close to the price of the appliance itself, so most consumers resolve to purchase another Braun coffee maker, instead of another carafe. One lady complained that the replacement basket would not stay closed while in the brewing process and water sprayed out everywhere. She returned the coffeemaker and replaced it with another of the same model, and it also had the same problem. Needless to say, she was not a happy camper. One major complaint seems to be the fact that this particular model is lacking in features. Some consumers suggest they make the carafe less fragile and add a few features, such as an automatic timer so the coffee will be ready when you get up in the morning, make the carafe sturdier, and not so easily breakable, and install an automatic shut off, so you don’t have to worry about the coffee boiling down in the pot if you should forget to turn off the appliance. Even though there were some disgruntled consumers, this product was still recommended by most. If you can be satisfied with a basic coffee maker, without all the fancy gadgets and special features, that makes great tasting coffee, then the Braun Aromaster KF 420 may be what you’re looking for.
