Black and Decker - most models

Recently we received a Black and Decker coffee makers at a company function as a door prize. After only a few months of use - let's say 5 - the power button started malfunctioning. I was reminded of the other model we used to have in the late 90's. It too had problems, was returned to the manufacturer and replaced. Also at the time a few local outlet malls featured Black and Decker stores were an amazing number of their various models were available as refurbished! As big coffee drinkers we are VERY frustrated with the performance of this manufacturers machines. We retired a Mr. Coffee machine that has been plugging away for more than 10 years. I think it's coming out of retirement!
